On sale soon!
It might feel a long way off, but if you're already dreaming about your next big summer getaway, we've got some good news…
Summer 2028 holidays will soon be going on sale!
Over the coming months, we expect holiday companies to begin releasing their Summer 2028 programmes, giving early bookers the chance to start planning holidays for May, June, July, August, September and October 2028.
And yes – at JLM Travel, we'll be ready to help as soon as holidays start appearing.
Why Book Your Summer 2028 Holiday Early?
You might be wondering why anyone would book a holiday so far in advance.
There are actually some very good reasons.
Get First Choice of Hotels
If you've got your eye on a particular hotel, resort or room type, booking early can give you a much wider choice.
Popular family hotels, swim-up rooms, family suites and rooms with sea views can become limited on the busiest dates.
More Choice for the School Summer Holidays
Travelling during the school holidays?
This is one of the biggest reasons to start looking early.
The most convenient flights and popular family hotels can be in particularly high demand during July and August, especially for larger families or those needing specific room arrangements.
More Time to Spread the Cost
Booking well in advance can also give you much longer to pay for your holiday.
Depending on the holiday and tour operator, low-deposit options and monthly payment plans may be available, allowing you to spread the cost rather than paying for everything at once.
Something to Look Forward To!
And, of course, there's another advantage.
Once it's booked, you've got that holiday countdown to look forward to!
Where Could You Go in Summer 2028?
We're expecting another fantastic choice of summer destinations, including many favourites available from Newcastle Airport.
You could be heading for the beaches of:
Majorca • Menorca • Ibiza • Tenerife • Lanzarote • Cyprus • Greece • Turkey • Costa del Sol • Costa Blanca • Costa Dorada • Algarve • Bulgaria • Croatia
Or perhaps Summer 2028 is the year you decide to go further afield.
JLM Travel can also help with long-haul holidays, cruises, city breaks and tailor-made trips, giving you plenty of options beyond the traditional Mediterranean summer holiday.
Summer 2028 Family Holidays
If you're planning a family holiday for Summer 2028, getting in early could be particularly worthwhile.
We'll be looking out for family-friendly hotels, All Inclusive holidays, waterpark hotels and Free Child Place offers as the new programmes are released.
Whether you're travelling as 2 adults and 1 child, 2 adults and 2 children or a larger family, speak to us when the holidays go on sale and we'll search for options that work for your family.
Summer 2028 Holidays from Newcastle Airport
Want to start your holiday close to home?
As Summer 2028 programmes are released, we'll be searching for the latest holidays flying from Newcastle Airport.
From a week in Majorca to a fortnight All Inclusive in Turkey, a Greek island escape or a family holiday in Cyprus, we'll help you compare the options available from Newcastle.
And if the holiday you're looking for isn't available locally, we can also check departures from other UK airports.
What About Summer 2028 Cruises?
Summer 2028 could also be the perfect opportunity to try a cruise.
JLM Travel can help with a huge selection of cruise holidays, from the Mediterranean and Greek Islands to the Norwegian Fjords and further afield.
We can look at cruises sailing directly from Newcastle as well as other ports in the UK as well as fly-cruise holidays, depending on where you'd like to explore. Some are already on sale so get in touch!
When Do Summer 2028 Holidays Go on Sale?
There isn't one single release date for Summer 2028 holidays.
Different airlines, tour operators and cruise companies release their programmes at different times, with destinations, hotels and flight schedules potentially appearing in stages.
TUI will be on sale on 15th October 2026 with others sure to follow very soon.
That's why it's worth keeping an eye on JLM Travel.
As the new Summer 2028 holidays begin to appear, we'll be checking what's available and sharing some of the best options we find.
