Down on the south coast of Gran Canaria is Playa del Ingles a fantastic beach resort which translated actually means English Beach, fortunately the weather is a little different here to what we would expect on a beach in the UK! The resort has a huge choice of places to eat, places to drink, places to stay and places to see.
The beach of course is the main attraction of Playa del Ingles and an ideal place to soak up the warm Canary Islands sunshine. Holidays here are spent enjoy the fabulous sands that are very clean and offer a lovely place to enjoy this little piece of Canaries paradise. The beach extends to the neighbouring resort of Maspalomas where the famous sand dunes offer a fantastic photo opportunity – selfies included! The water sports on Playa del Ingles beach are brilliant and include parasailing, water skiing, speedboat rides and even jet skiing. Or for an activity all the family can enjoy pedaloes are available as are banana boat rides.

There are a large number of shops throughout the resort which offer great value for money and sell everything you might need (or didn’t know you did until you see it). Close to Playa del Ingles is 'Campo de Golf', which is surrounded by sand dunes and featuring a challenging golf course.
