Nissi Bay has grown out of the neighbouring resort of Ayia Napa. It is a much more laid back resort but offers easy access to the nightlife that Ayia Napa has become world famous for. With a fabulous almost white sand beach, crystal clear waters and a really relaxing feel, this resort is one of the most popular in Cyprus.

Both these resorts offer a wider choice of shops, bars and restaurants and the neon lights of Ayia Napa are popular with the young and lively crowd and stay open until well into the early hours. The buses are excellent and run right through the night, so Nissi Bay is a great base for exploring the Famagusta region. Excursions to the old town of Famagusta in northern Cyprus are also a great day out.
