The chilled resort of San Antonio Bay is a top spot just to the south of the lively San Antonio Town, with families and couples looking for a great beach resort with a laid back atmosphere. On the sun drenched west coast of Ibiza, it is a firm favourite with British holidaymakers. The sunsets are fantastic here and enjoyed by all ages.
This bay is all set up for sun worshippers; there are quiet coves, bustling beaches and lots of watersports available on the five beaches that make up San Antonio Bay. Families love the soft sand and shallow crystal clear waters that are great for swimming or paddling in as well as the banana boats and pedaloes that add to the fun of the day. Watersport enthusiasts love holidays to San Antonio Bay for the choice of water activities such as the water skiing, jet skis or parasailing. Head down to nearby Port d’es Torrent and enjoy the snorkelling in the sparkling waters of the bay for an enjoyable few hours.
After the sun has gone down there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy an entertaining evening down by the waterfront. There are a good range of fairly low key bars that cater for all ages as well as families. For the more adventurous looking for a big night out, head into the town by bus, taxi or a stroll and find a neon city of music bars, karaoke’s, discos and trendy clubs that don’t close until the sun comes up.
