Cavtat is picturesque resort situated on the southernmost tip of the Dubrovnik Riviera. It is mere 30 minute drive from the beautiful town of Dubrovnik also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. It is located on a small peninsula surrounded by beautiful forests on one side with beaches and coves on the other.
Said to be one of the most beautiful resorts in Croatia, it boasts a palm lined promenade, a lovely scenic bay and a harbour that is home to a number of restaurants and trendy wine bars. Modern hotels are set in amongst bars, restaurants, shops and market stalls in the old town that have been there for many generations.
The rocky beaches are fringed by palm trees and they vary in size, some have beach bars, others are small secluded coves that are deserted and slip into the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. They are popular with locals and tourists alike and have been attracting the British back for holidays to Cavtat for many years. There is a good range of watersports available on the beaches. Mlini and Plat are a short stroll away where you can find a small, pebble beaches. There are plenty of sun-loungers and parasols available to hire along the beach.

The night scene is centred on the harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. One of the things to sample whilst on holiday in Cavtat is the local herb brandy called Travarica.
The city of Dubrovnik is only a short drive away and is a great day out where new meets old. The ancient walled town is a popular attraction and it was once one of the main trading ports in this area of Europe.
